Children's Music Festival at Trinity

When:     Saturday, August 22

Time:     10:00 am - 1:00 pm

What:     A specially tailored festival experience for our children.

Who:      Children in grades 2-5

Cost:       FREE, of course! 


This fun event will be a parent's mid-day-out that will provide the following activities for the children:


  • Instrumental Petting Zoo, featuring students from CSU's Schwob School of Music, demonstrating instruments and letting children make sounds themselves. 
  • Learning and singing a NEW SONG composed especially for this occasion, featuring percussion and other instruments, that will be sung at the 10:30 am, service the next day, Sunday, August 23. 
  • Pilates-style movement sessions. 
  • Light lunch provided. 
  • Short class in how to read music. 
  • Touring and PLAYING the Great Organ in the Nave. 
  • A gathering with Trinity clergy in the Chapel, with prayers and a Bible lesson. 
  • Closing performance for parents by children.
