On the Table at St. Thomas

On November 7th Saint Thomas, in partnership with Greater Beallwood Baptist Church and Temple Israel, will serve as a Super Host for On the Table.  This project sponsored by the Chattahoochee Valley Community Foundations provides an opportunity for our community to come together to listen and to learn from each other while sharing a meal.  We will talk about issues that impact our quality of life by sharing our experiences and listening to others.  We will gather over a soup, sandwich, and dessert dinner at 6:00 in the Parish Hall to connect and learn what matters to all of us.
Hundreds of people in Columbus and the area will gather in many different locations and times that day to share ideas to make our community a better place.  A Super Host location can provide space for up to 150 people at tables hosted by a facilitator who will get the discussion started.  We will have facilitators from all three partner congregations.  On the Table is a starting place for meaningful conversations which have the potential to add up to a greater solution than we can achieve on our own.
Register online at: Select "I would like to join a public table," then select St. Thomas from the drop down list.) If you need childcare please also let the church office know you're coming.
There is no cost to the participants but your participation will be of great value to our community.
