St. Thomas Advent Lunch Series

All Will Be Well - Advent Hope from Julian of Norwich
Mondays, December 4, 11, & 18 at noon

Many members of St. Thomas are accompanying the St. Thomas Choir on their pilgrimage to Norwich, England in July 2018. For Advent this year, we will learn about one of the great citizens of Norwich - Dame Julian. Her book of visions, Revelations of Divine Love, is the first published book in English written by a woman. Her witness to God's never ending love and her confidence in God's goodness have inspired Christians for centuries.

We have three great speakers lined up for the series this year. December 4: Meet Julian of Norwich, Rev. Grace Burton-Edwards

December 11: Praying with Julian of Norwich, Carl McColman, contemplative writer, speaker, and retreat leader who draws on the teachings of Christian saints and mystics to apply their wisdom and teachings in practical ways. Learn more at

December 18: Julian’s World and Ours: Where’s the Hope? Dr. Loyd Allen, Professor of Church History and Spiritual Formation, McAfee School of Theology, Atlanta, GA.

Lunch is available for a $5 donation. RSVPS are not required but you can let us know in this event page that you're coming!
