Popcorn Theology

Do you see yourself as a movie buff or cinema junkie? Do you love the smell of hot, fresh popcorn? Do you love sharing an evening at the movies with your friends? If the answer to any of the above is a “yes”, then St. Mark’s Popcorn Theology is something you will enjoy and want to be part of. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 5:00 pm for pizza, a movie and some fellowship and discussion. Please bring $5.00 to offset the cost of food and drink.

February 19: The Danish Girl – Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander star in this remarkable love story inspired by true events from Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper. When Gerda (Vikander) asks her husband Einar Wegener (Redmayne) to fill in as a portrait model, Einar's long-repressed feelings surface and she begins living her life as a woman. Embarking on a groundbreaking journey that's only made possible by the unconditional love of her wife, Einar fights to become the person she's meant to be, transgender pioneer Lili Elbe.

So, whether you see yourself as a movie buff or whether you just want a relaxing escape once a month, pencil in the 3rd Sunday at 5:00 pm for Popcorn Theology for fun and fellowship. See you at the movies------ *******************************************************************************************************************
