Part 3: Striving for Justice for Immigrants

retro-rainbow-student-pride-facebook-event-cover-6_774

We hope you can join us as we wrap up our fall series on Striving for Justice for Immigrants.

This month we will meet on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 6:30-8 p.m. on Zoom. (Note this is earlier than usual in the month due to the Thanksgiving holiday). This will also be our last conversation for the year.

We will hear from friends at Paz Amigos, a local nonprofit serving immigrants who are released from the Stewart Detention Center. The provide travel and logistical assistance, help contact family and friends and provide overnight lodging for men who have been released. They are "committed to the idea that America is a country of immigrants, and welcome all who come here seeking to improve their lives and contribute to their local communities."

To join all you need to do is register here for the link to Zoom!
