Volunteer
Are you looking for a hands-on way to serve your neighbors? There are several volunteer opportunities, ranging from occasional to regular commitments, at the Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry.
Direct Service Volunteer: DS volunteers meet with clients during 30 minute appointments held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to Noon. This is a way to directly impact lives (including your own!) You would begin with training support from current volunteers before you are worked into the regular rotation of Direct Service intake. We need volunteers help periodically with calls to find household goods and furniture for clients.
TAP: Be a part of making TAP happen! TAP Co-Planners meet about once a month between January and June, when TAP is held. We also need volunteers during the event, including teenagers! Contact Debbie Anderson at [email protected].
Striving for Justice team: If you would like to be a part of the planning committee for Striving for Justice, we would welcome you. We meet monthly to plan meetings.
If you are interested in serving in any of these ways or think of another way to give of your time, contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for the many ways you support and participate in CVEM’s mission and GO out into the world to share God’s love in our communities.
