Join Us to discuss U.S. Healthcare: The Black American Experience

This month we're diving into an important topic--The Black American Experience of U.S. Healthcare.
Black Americans have historically faced discrimination and even abuse by medical professionals--from slavery to Jim Crow, the Tuskegee Experiment to COVID-19--issues that have again come to the forefront during the pandemic. We'll look at two short videos that touch on this deep, traumatic history that pervades today's experience of the healthcare system for Black Americans.
We'll gather on Zoom from 6:30-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 to discuss the videos.
To join us, simply watch The US medical system is still haunted by slavery and With a history of abuse in American medicine, Black patients struggle for equal access.
